Summary
We are currently seeking an Lead Artist to join our Game Development team.
Duties
The person in this position creates 2D and 3D animation graphics for new slot/video games, and manages our other artists.
Job Description
- Creates layouts from existing game designs
- Produces digital graphics and/or animations for slot/video games
- Designs fun animations and graphics for optimal player appeal
- Lead and mentors other artists
Required Experience
- Proficient in design software on a PC
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. (After Effects experience is a plus)
- Proficient in Autodesk Maya or Max
- Extensive knowledge and talents in all three areas of 3D software graphics (modeling animation, and lighting effects)
- Strong understanding of the game development process
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and able to communicate with others
- Leadership skills a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Art preferred, or its equivalent
- Must submit portfolio for consideration
Preference given to local candidates
